Nexen Tire launches N’Blue S and N’Fera Primus UX in Malaysia – EV-compatible tyres with six-month replacement programme

Nexen Tire has launched the N’Blue S and N’Fera Primus UX in Malaysia, offering two new tyre ranges for both electric and combustion-engined vehicles.

Introduced on 30 October 2026, the N’Blue S is a touring tyre focused on wet-weather traction, while the N’Fera Primus UX targets the ultra-high-performance segment with reinforced construction for highway stability and comfort.

Both arrive ahead of the year-end monsoon, with designs intended to meet the demands of Malaysia’s rainfall, high temperatures and long-distance driving.

N’Blue S – wet-weather grip, sizes from 14 to 17 inches

The N’Blue S uses a tread pattern designed to channel water away from the contact patch, helping reduce the risk of aquaplaning in heavy rain.

Its low rolling resistance construction also aims to reduce fuel consumption.

Available locally in 110 sizes covering 14- to 17-inch wheels, the range is fitted as original equipment on selected vehicles, including the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3.

N’Fera Primus UX – reinforced construction and improved tyre life

The N’Fera Primus UX features reinforced construction designed to improve stability and comfort during highway driving.

Nexen Tire also claims approximately 20% better tread wear performance than its predecessor.

Developed around the company’s One Universal Fit strategy, the range caters to vehicles from European, Japanese, South Korean and Chinese manufacturers.

Both ranges carry EV ROOT compatibility mark

The N’Blue S and N’Fera Primus UX both carry Nexen Tire’s EV ROOT mark, identifying their compatibility with electric vehicles.

According to the company, the tyres are engineered to accommodate the additional weight and instant torque of EVs while remaining suitable for combustion-engined models, without requiring a separate EV-specific version.

Six-month road hazard replacement programme

Both ranges are covered by the Nexen Tire Exchange Programme, which provides six months of unconditional one-to-one replacement for eligible road hazard damage.

The programme is available through participating distributors, with customers required to register their tyres at the point of purchase.

Nexen Tire Malaysia is also developing a separate warranty programme, with further details to be announced.
