Tesla Cybercab now on display in Malaysia – first stop, Mid Valley Megamall

The Tesla Cybercab is now on display at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, from 29 October to 1 November 2026, kicking off a Malaysian showcase that will also visit Selangor and Penang.

Visitors can get a closer look at Tesla’s purpose-built autonomous taxi, which does away with a steering wheel and accelerator and brake pedals.

Butterfly doors and a coupe-like profile

The Cybercab pairs a low, streamlined body with butterfly doors, giving it a distinctive appearance even before visitors look inside.

A full-width LED light bar stretches across the front, accompanied by projector headlamps. Another light bar sits at the rear, where the angular styling draws on the Cybertruck.

Conventional wing mirrors are absent, too.

A cabin designed around passengers

Inside, the dashboard is dominated by a single touchscreen, with no conventional driving controls.

The seats feature segmented backrests and cushions, accompanied by a folding centre armrest. The layout reflects the Cybercab’s intended role as a vehicle designed for autonomous ride-hailing.

Charging takes a different approach as well. The Cybercab is designed to use wireless inductive charging, removing the need to connect a charging cable.

Where to see the Tesla Cybercab in Malaysia

Venue Dates
Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur 29 October to 1 November 2026
Sunway Square Mall, Selangor 3–9 November 2026
Pavilion Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur 10–11 November 2026
Gurney Plaza, Penang 13–22 November 2026

The first stop is underway at Mid Valley Megamall, where the Cybercab will remain on display until 1 November.

Keep in mind, like the Cybertruck that was shown here a few years prior, this remains as a car on tour, not necessarily a sign that Tesla Malaysia will be offering the car here anytime soon.
