Futuristic Tesla Cybercab Lands in Malaysia: 4-Mall Showcase Starts Oct 29 at Mid Valley Megamall

Tesla’s vision for autonomous mobility has officially landed on Malaysian shores. Following a recent regional preview—and after our initial first look at the sci-fi robotaxi in China—the fully driverless Tesla Cybercab is embarking on a showcase tour across four major shopping destinations in the Klang Valley and Penang from October 29 to November 22, 2026.

Key Highlights of the Cybercab

Zero Traditional Driver Controls: Engineered specifically around Tesla’s unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) architecture, the Cybercab completely eliminates the steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals, and side mirrors.

Futuristic Exterior Design: The two-seater liftback features a distinct gold-tinted metallic finish, full-width front and rear light bars, and upward-opening butterfly doors.

Inductive Wireless Charging: Discarding traditional plug-in charging ports, the Cybercab is designed to rely entirely on high-efficiency wireless charging pads.

Guided Walkthroughs & Gifts: Tesla Malaysia is holding 15-minute guided walkthroughs led by Tesla Advisors. Visitors who pre-register for a walkthrough session on Tesla Malaysia's official event page or complete a test drive of the updated Model 3, Model Y, or Model Y L will receive an exclusive Cybercab mystery gift (while stocks last).
