The all-new fourth-generation 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric has been unveiled globally but official Malaysian pricing has not yet been announced. Based on international pricing, the base Cayenne Electric starts at approximately RM 453,930 (US$109,000), while the Cayenne Turbo Electric starts at around RM 678,813 (US$163,000) . Malaysian pricing and specifications will be confirmed upon local launch through authorized dealer Sime Darby Auto Performance.

The Cayenne Electric is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800V architecture and features dual electric motors with all-wheel drive . The base Cayenne Electric produces 408 PS in normal driving, with Launch Control boosting output to 441 PS and 834 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds . The Cayenne Turbo Electric delivers up to 1,155 PS and 1,500 Nm with Launch Control activated, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds . A new Cayenne S Electric variant has also been unveiled, producing 544 PS (666 PS with Launch Control) and 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds .

The Cayenne Electric is equipped with a newly developed 113 kWh battery pack . WLTP-certified range is up to 642 km for the base model, 653 km for the Cayenne S, and 623 km for the Turbo variant . Thanks to its 800V architecture, it supports DC fast charging up to 400 kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in under 16 minutes . A 10-minute charge can add up to 325 km of range . It is the first Porsche to support wireless inductive charging at up to 11 kW .

The all-new Cayenne Electric is larger than its predecessor, with a wheelbase extended by 130 mm to 3,020 mm, providing significantly more rear legroom . Overall length has increased by 55 mm . Luggage capacity ranges from 781 to 1,588 litres, and there is an additional 90-litre front trunk (frunk) for storing charging cables or small items . It retains its 5-seater luxury SUV configuration.

The Cayenne Electric introduces the Flow Display, featuring an elegantly curved OLED instrument cluster (14.25-inch) that blends seamlessly into the centre console, complemented by an optional 14.9-inch passenger display . An 87-inch Augmented Reality Head-Up Display is available, providing dynamic navigation guidance . The vehicle features an AI-driven Voice Pilot for natural language commands and "Mood Modes" that adjust seating position, lighting, climate, and sound profiles . Physical controls for key functions like climate and volume are retained for ergonomic ease .

The Cayenne Electric comes standard with adaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) . It features up to 600 kW of energy recuperation, allowing about 97% of daily braking to be handled by the electric motors without using mechanical brakes . The Turbo variant includes direct oil cooling for the rear electric motor for sustained performance . Optional technologies include rear-axle steering, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, and Porsche Active Ride dynamic anti-roll system . The vehicle achieves an exceptional drag coefficient of 0.25 Cd with Porsche Active Aerodynamics .

In the luxury electric SUV segment, the Cayenne Electric's main competitors include the Tesla Model X, Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, and BMW iX. It also competes with the Lotus Eletre and Audi Q8 e-tron at similar price points. The high-voltage battery is expected to be covered by a separate 8-year or 160,000 km warranty, consistent with other Porsche EV models like the Taycan and Macan Electric . Special promotional packages, such as the Ultimate Care Package offered during festive seasons, may provide additional benefits . Extended warranty options are available through authorized dealers.

The Cayenne Electric is available in up to 13 standard colours and nine wheel designs ranging from 20 to 22 inches . The base model features 20-inch Cayenne Aero wheels, while the Turbo variant comes with 21-inch Cayenne Turbo Aero wheels . The newly launched Cayenne S Electric offers 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels with model-specific front and rear aprons in Volcano Grey Metallic . The Cayenne Electric is the first Porsche to support wireless inductive charging . The system uses a charging floor plate (pad) installed in the owner's parking space. To charge, the driver simply positions the vehicle above the pad, and the charging process begins automatically without any cables. The system supports up to 11 kW charging power, making it convenient for overnight home charging. If customers wish to retrofit wireless charging later, they can select the "Porsche Wireless Charging – Preparation" option when configuring their vehicle .
