Previewed for the first time at the biennial Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2026 is this, the Xpeng P7. Brought in by distributors Berjaya Xpeng Sdn. Bhd., the car is still in its left-hand drive guise - so don’t expect it to be launched here real soon.

This massive flagship measures 5,017 mm long with a 3,008 mm wheelbase, sitting ultra-low to the ground with a height of just 1,427 mm. Think of it as about as long as a BMW 5 Series or Mercedes E-Class, but slammed lower to the ground.
Inside, the P7 focuses heavily on immersive driver tech. The minimalist dashboard houses an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 15.6-inch tilting infotainment touchscreen.

Drivers also get a massive 87-inch head-up display (HUD) and a 9-inch streaming rear-view mirror, while rear passengers control their environment via an integrated 8-inch screen. Its advanced architecture supports ultra-fast 5C charging, capable of juicing the battery from 10% to 80% in just 11 to 12 minutes.

Under the skin, the dual-motor versions deliver a combined system output of 594 PS (586 hp or 437 kW) and 695 Nm of torque. This allows the all-wheel-drive variants to rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds before hitting a capped top speed of 230 km/h.

Crucially, the P7 features advanced 800-volt architecture supporting 5C fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% state-of-charge replenishment in 11.3 minutes for NMC battery models or roughly 12 minutes flat for LFP variants.
In China, it is priced between RM 118,000 and RM 175,000 (203,800 to 301,800 yuan), however no indicative pricing or further information has been shared for its Malaysian sales just yet.
