Jetour Auto Malaysia has displayed the G700 SUV at the 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026). The full-size luxury off-roader initially debuted in the Chinese market last October under Jetour's premium "Zongheng" off-road line before being showcased globally at Auto Beijing in April.

Built on a rugged body-on-frame platform, the imposing three-row SUV measures 5,198 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,956 mm in height. Locally, the G700 is positioned to compete directly against premium ladder-frame contenders such as the GWM Tank 500. While Jetour has not yet finalised the local specifications for the Malaysian market, the vehicle is manufactured in its home market with the choice of either six- or seven-seat interior layouts.

Propulsion is handled by a high-output plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system featuring a longitudinal 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric dual-motor setup. Together, the system develops an immense combined output of 904 PS and 1,135 Nm of torque. Channeled through a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) to an electric all-wheel-drive system, the powertrain allows the 3-tonne SUV to achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.6 seconds.

Electrical energy is provided by a 34.13 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack sourced from CATL, yielding an all-electric driving range of up to 150 km. The vehicle utilizes an advanced 800V architecture that supports DC fast charging up to 170 kW, allowing a 30% to 80% state-of-charge replenishment in 10 minutes. It also features a 6.6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability to power external equipment. Total combined cruising capability stands at 1,400 km on the CLTC cycle, which translates to roughly 1,148 km under the WLTP testing protocol.

The premium interior is defined by a multi-screen configuration based on Chinese market specifications. A panoramic 35.4-inch display strip runs along the base of the front windscreen, complemented by a 15.6-inch central infotainment touchscreen and a rear 17.3-inch entertainment display that folds down from the roof liner. Rear passenger climate settings are managed via a separate, dedicated 8.8-inch touchscreen interface.

Luxury appointments include heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, front and rear sunroof sections, customised ambient lighting, and an 11-speaker Lexicon sound system that can be optionally expanded to 18 speakers. Active driver security is managed by the group's Falcon 500 ADAS architecture, utilizing an array of radar and camera sensors to support high-speed navigation autopilot and automated parking assist routines.

Jetour's presentation at KLIMS 2026 also features the smaller T1 and T2 SUV.  n China, the G700 retails between 329,900 yuan and 384,900 yuan (approximately RM 191,000 to RM 223,000 before taxes). Given that its primary local benchmark, the mild-hybrid GWM Tank 500, is currently priced at RM328,000 in Malaysia, the more powerful, heavily equipped plug-in hybrid Jetour G700 is highly likely to command a premium, with local pricing expected to land around the RM 350,000 to RM 380,000 mark.
