2026 Honda City Facelift photo gallery - take a closer look at Honda's updated B-segment sedan

Just yesterday, Honda Malaysia introduced the updated 2026 Honda City facelift, with its updated B-segment sedan receiving a host of new equipment and improved features.

What’s new with the 2026 Honda City facelift?

Starting with the exterior design, the biggest change is the front fascia. Out goes the traditional Honda family face, as the updated 2026 Honda City facelift now adopts a far sportier front end, encompassing a pair of automatic projector LED headlights (standard across the range), as well as a slimmer front grille.

Honda has also repositioned its emblem from the grille to the bonnet. Elsewhere, the RS variants also gain an LED lightbar – ushering the City into the modern era.

Towards the sides, all variants except the entry-level E variant receive new 16-inch alloy wheels. Upper variants like the V and RS receive redesigned 16-inch units – the latter finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear.

The sportiness continues to the rear of the new City too – there’s now a pair of dark clear LED tail lights across the range, sitting on top of a redesigned rear bumper. The non-RS variants receive a sharper design with thin vertical reflectors and an angular rear diffuser trim piece, while the RS variants get an aggressive rear bumper with an oversized rear diffuser trim piece. The RS variants also add a bootlid spoiler.

Stepping into the cabin and the changes include a large 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with built-in support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Speaker count is unchanged at eight across the line-up, featuring 4 speakers and 4 tweeters.

RS variants, both the petrol and e:HEV hybrid, also receive an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and ambient lighting – two new additions to Honda’s B-segment sedan.

That said, the new 2026 Honda City facelift, across all variants, has dropped the spare tyre. In its place is a tyre repair kit.

Unchanged are the powertrain options, with the 2026 Honda City facelift offering:

• Naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine: 121 PS & 145 Nm, CVT
• Petrol-electric hybrid 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine: 109 PS, 253 Nm, e-CVT

The debut of Honda’s updated B-segment sedan also marks the start of Honda Malaysia’s new 8-year unlimited mileage warranty coverage for petrol variants. Hybrid Honda models also benefit from a 10-year unlimited mileage hybrid battery & components warranty.
