
The new 2026 Honda City Facelift has launched in Thailand moments ago, marking the regional debut of Honda's updated B-segment model.

First shown in India about a month ago, this update exercise marks the second facelift for the seventh-generation GN Honda City.


For the Thai market, the updated 2026 Honda City facelift continues to be offered in two powertrain options: VTEC Turbo and e:HEV hybrid. That said, the former has been relegated to just the entry-level variant; the rest of the City's four-variant line-up is now e:HEV-powered.


Also unchanged are the two bodystyles: sedan and hatchback.

These prices are for the sedan variants; hatchback variants command a THB 10,000 premium.
For what it's worth, these prices are marginally cheaper than before, though Honda Thailand has mentioned that these prices include a THB 30,000 introductory discount.

The e:HEV RS gets a redesigned glossy black grille, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and an RS-style rear spoiler, paired with full-width connecting LED headlights, clear lens LED taillights, and 16-inch two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear.
The e:HEV SV carries a similar black grille treatment with revised bumpers, the same full-width connecting LED headlights and clear-lens LED taillights, and 16-inch two-tone diamond-cut alloys in a polished light grey finish.


The e:HEV V gets a redesigned black grille and bumpers, LED headlights, and 16-inch two-tone diamond-cut alloys in grey, while the S variant, which is the line-up's most affordable option, receives a redesigned black grille and revised bumpers.
Exterior colour choices span seven options, including two new shades: Blazing Red Pearl and Urban Gray Pearl, are both exclusive to the e:HEV RS. The City Hatchback's e:HEV RS additionally offers a two-tone Urban Gray Pearl finish with a black roof.


The e:HEV RS features black leather and synthetic leather upholstery with red stitching, a 3D-patterned glossy black and grey dashboard trim, and red ambient lighting.


The e:HEV SV sedan offers an optional Platinum Grey interior, available only when paired with Meteoroid Grey Metallic or Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint, alongside blue ambient lighting.


The line-up is offered with two powertrain options: the VTEC Turbo engine, available on the S variant, and the e:HEV full hybrid system, available across the RS, SV, and V variants.

In terms of power output, the VTEC Turbo features a turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 122 PS at 5,500 rpm and 173 Nm of torque between 2,000 rpm to 4,500 rpm, mated to a CVT-type automatic transmission.
Then there's the e:HEV petrol-electric hybrid that gets a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine mated to Honda's two-motor hybrid system. Combined output is 109 PS and 253 Nm - unchanged from before.
Regardless of powertrain, the Thai-spec 2026 Honda City facelift is E20-compatible.
The e:HEV RS is equipped with a wireless charging pad, a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Multi-View Camera System, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The e:HEV SV shares the 10-inch touchscreen and Multi-View Camera System.


The e:HEV V comes with an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch TFT instrument display, Walk Away Auto Lock, an electric parking brake, and Auto Brake Hold.

Seeing that Thailand is the mother plant for this region, we reckon that it is only a matter of time before the 2026 Honda City facelift reaches our shores.
Currrently the Honda City starts from RM 84,900.00 to RM 99,900.00 for petrol and RM 111,900.00 for hybrid.
