It's worth mentioning that unlike the City sedan that starts with the E variant at RM 89,900, the City Hatchback facelift kicks off at the upper V variant, priced at RM 95,900.

What’s new with the 2026 Honda City Hatchback facelift?

Starting with the exterior, the updated City Hatchback receives a revised front end with a connected headlight design and bi-LED headlights across all three variants.

There are also new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels. The V gets a Shark Gray finish, while the Petrol RS and e:HEV RS receive wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear.

Four exterior colours are offered: Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl and the newly introduced Blazing Red Pearl. Stellar Diamond Pearl is exclusive to the petrol variants.

Stepping into the cabin, the dashboard gets a new 3D-pattern garnish and ambient lighting. The infotainment display has grown to 10 inches, while the range-topping e:HEV RS adds a wireless charger.

Honda’s ULTRA Seats remain part of the package, offering Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh configurations. Owners can rearrange the seats to accommodate bulky items or longer loads, retaining one of the City Hatchback’s most useful features.

As for safety, Honda Sensing, Honda LaneWatch and Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring are now standard across all three variants. The Petrol RS and e:HEV RS also get a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System to help when parking and manoeuvring through tight spaces.

Two powertrain options are available:

  • V and Petrol RS: Naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm, paired with a CVT driving the front wheels
  • e:HEV RS: A 1.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain with a quoted output of 109 PS and 253 Nm

All variants come with an eight-year, unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty. The e:HEV RS also receives a 10-year, unlimited-mileage hybrid battery warranty.

Prices of the updated 2026 Honda City Hatchback are as follows:

  • Honda City Hatchback 1.5 V: RM 95,900
  • Honda City Hatchback 1.5 RS: RM 100,900
  • Honda City Hatchback 1.5 e:HEV RS: RM 112,900

All prices are on-the-road, without insurance. Customers who register any variant under Honda Malaysia’s launch campaign will receive a RM 4,000 cash reward, subject to terms and conditions.
