BYD October 2026 sales reach 490,168 units, overseas sales climb to 169,564

BYD sold 490,168 new vehicles in October 2026, including 483,125 passenger cars, according to its latest sales figures released on 1 November. Overseas sales of passenger cars and pick-up trucks reached 169,564 units, marking a strong performance in international markets.

The company also announced that cumulative sales of its new energy vehicles (NEVs) have now surpassed 18.7 million units.

October sales by brand

BYD's sub-brands recorded the following sales in October:

• BYD: 423,843 units
• Fangchengbao: 43,872 units
• Denza: 15,152 units
• Yangwang: 258 units

From January to October 2026, BYD Group sold a total of 3,621,744 vehicles worldwide. Overseas sales and exports of passenger cars and pick-up trucks accounted for 1,507,395 units over the same period, underlining the group's growing international presence.
