BYD Malaysia has just launched the new 2026 BYD Sealion 7 EV in the country, days after its initial teaser.

BYD Malaysia has previewed an updated 2026 Sealion 7 ahead of its July 30 launch, with the electric SUV set to gain a longer-range battery option and faster charging capability.

In August 2025, BYD dropped a bombshell at the launch of its all-new Seal: BYD will establish a 600,000-square-metre CKD plant in Tanjung Malim, Perak, with production expected to commence in the second half of 2026.
