Jetour Tourer debuts in China as brand's first electric SUV, launching in Q4 2026

Jetour has revealed the production-ready Tourer, its first fully electric SUV. Positioned in the C-segment, the Tourer combines a boxy SUV design with off-road features and a claimed CLTC range of 550 km.

The new model is expected to launch in China in the fourth quarter of 2026, with bookings already open.

Exterior

The Tourer retains Jetour's familiar boxy design, drawing inspiration from both Eastern and Western architecture. Its styling was developed by an international team of designers from China, South Korea, the US, France and Italy.

At the front, a closed-off grille is paired with distinctive round headlights, giving the electric SUV a retro look. Air ducts on either side of the front bumper are designed to improve airflow while complementing its rugged styling.

The Tourer measures 4,605 mm long, 1,880 mm wide and 1,700 mm tall, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase. Its drag coefficient is rated at 0.32 Cd.

Despite its urban-friendly proportions, the Tourer has several off-road features. It offers a 21-degree approach angle, a 26-degree departure angle, 200mm of ground clearance and a wading depth of 500mm. Crawl control and Tank Turn functions are also included.

At the rear, the round taillights echo the front-end design. Buyers can also opt for an externally mounted storage box.

Interior

Inside, Jetour describes the Tourer's cabin as a cloud-like wraparound space, complete with 256-colour ambient lighting.

The seats feature an 11-layer construction, which Jetour says is comparable to that found in luxury cars costing around RMB 300,000 (approximately RM180k).

Both front seats come with heating, ventilation and eight-point massage functions. The front passenger seat also has a one-touch recline function, marketed as a "Queen's Seat".

The cabin makes efficient use of its available width, with an 85% space utilisation rate and 31 storage compartments. Up front, there is also a 150-litre waterproof frunk that can be washed out.

Technology & Safety

The Tourer is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8775 cockpit-and-driving chip. Its dashboard features a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen running the Tour OS 3.5 infotainment system.

For driver assistance, the SUV gets Jetour's Falcon 500 system, which supports highway and urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA), as well as automatic parking.

Standard active safety features include autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane departure prevention (LDP), blind spot detection (BSD), rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA) and a 540-degree panoramic camera system with a transparent chassis view.

Powertrain

The Tourer will be offered in China with single-motor front-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations.

The front-wheel-drive version produces 200 kW, while the all-wheel-drive model has a combined output of 275 kW (approximately 374 PS). The latter can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around five seconds and comes with a "7+X" selectable all-terrain driving mode.

Both versions use a 67.2 kWh Rhino battery, with a claimed CLTC range of 550 km and energy consumption of 13.5 kWh per 100 km. The Tourer also supports 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output, allowing owners to run electrical equipment when camping or spending time outdoors.

The suspension setup comprises MacPherson struts at the front and a five-link independent arrangement at the rear.
